Africa-wide regional training and sensitization programme on wildlife law enforcement for officers at national level

Plans are underway by LATF and partnering regional bodies to undertake a five-day multi-agency training and sensitization workshop on environmental governance, cooperative law enforcement, compliance and networking to be held from 13th to 18th December 2011 in Nairobi. At least 20 participants will be drawn from four regional blocks in Africa i.e. Western, Central, Eastern and Southern Africa. Resource persons will be drawn from UNEP, LATF, CITES, UNU-Japan, IFAW and KWS.
