LATF SUPPORTS KENYA NATIONAL BUREAU IN CONDUCTING A FIELD TRAINING COURSE IN BASIC INTELLIGENCE AND INVESTIGATIONS

In its continued efforts to build the law enforcement capacity of Party States, the Lusaka Agreement Task Force (LATF) recently participated in the training of sixty (60) security staff from Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS). The training course was held in July/August 2009 at their Manyani Field Training School and focused on various aspects related to Basic Intelligence and Investigation course. LATF co-funded the training and provided some of the resource persons. The course was officially opened by the Director of LATF Mr. Bonaventure Ebayi on 6th July 2009 while the closing ceremony was officiated by the Director of KWS Dr. Julius Kipng’etich on 31st August 2009.
